A graphic designer, small-town local, and a devoted fan of Gilmore Girls and Orange Pekoe tea! I’m a creative through and through, with a deep love for crafting timeless, beautiful designs that tell a story.
Since I was young, I’ve been captivated by the creative world, inspired by the smallest details and the thrill of bringing my designs to life. My love for beauty and inspiration led me to explore Hawaii’s lush landscapes on my honeymoon, a place that deepened my appreciation for natural design and vibrant colours. Now, I find that same joy in a cozy tea and a stroll through our local shops, where I can soak up the simple beauty around me.
I started The Branding Nest to return to what I love most—being creative, crafting new ideas, and helping others launch their dreams. With over a decade of design experience, I knew it was time to pivot from wedding stationery, a space that no longer felt aligned with my
goals. Rooted in a passion for creativity and a drive to elevate brands, I wanted to get back to my roots, challenge myself, and bring fresh energy into my work.
My goal is to help others build a solid foundation for their business, setting them up for long-term success and making their vision a reality.
Since graduating in 2013 with an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design from Fanshawe College, I’ve been lucky to work with fantastic clients, helping to bring their unique weddings and brands to life. Let’s connect over tea & baked goods sometime – I’d love to hear your story!

Just a few months after graduation, I began working at a local design and advertising agency, where I managed the print shop single-handedly, from small to large-scale jobs. This experience ignited my passion for all things print.
2013
My husband and I welcomed our first son on February 29th—a leap day baby! Just two weeks later, the world came to a standstill, but despite being on maternity leave, 2020 turned out to be the busiest year for Avenue16.
2020
2014
Avenue16 – Graphic Design was born. I dove into wedding stationery when coworkers asked me to design their wedding invitations, which quickly led to more requests from family and friends. Soon enough, Avenue16 was officially registered and launched into the world of wedding stationery.
2025
After a decade with Avenue16, it was time to pivot. Closing that chapter and starting The Branding Nest was a long time coming. I’m beyond excited to dive into all the projects and growth that lie ahead. Along side this, our family welcomed baby boy #2, what a joy he is!
